This is my story.


My name is Eric. Two years ago I weighed 331 pounds. Today I weigh less than 200 pounds. It took me approximately a little over a year to lose 130 pounds. I have kept it off since. Even better I have remained happy and content.




I don’t have a secret.
I have a true story to tell.


I will begin the story right here. Take a look at the photos. These aren’t like the photos you see where a weight lifter took a month off and drank a lot of beer and ate pasta to pose for some “before” pictures so they could sell you some caffeine pills or exercise program.




I was seriously obese. That’s real fat on a real person. Those are pictures of me. Those are real XXXL shirts I am wearing. I am here to tell you what happened to make all that fat go away. This is a true story.




There were no pills, supplements, solutions, or potions involved. I did not buy any exercise equipment or do any kind of regular exercise. All the food I ate while losing the weight and the food I eat today is available at normal grocery stores.


The things I did are things anyone can do.


Often people claim I must have some sort of amazing self discipline. Nothing could be farther from the truth. I’ve had roughly the same amount of self discipline all my adult life.


I spent twenty years in the military and fought a losing battle with my weight every last one of them. My career and livelihood depended on being able to sustain weight loss but the best I could do was repeatedly crash diet, lose enough to stay out of trouble, and then gain it back to repeat the whole pathetic cycle twice a year. This means I had all the motivation you could imagine to sustain my weight loss. It never happened.


I continually failed at every diet, plan, and program I tried until this approach worked for me. It worked the first time and continues to work for me today.




I didn’t arrive at my solution until after I was retired! I didn’t have any new reasons to lose weight, but I did have a new approach. The approach I took didn’t cost me any money in products, memberships, exercise programs, DVDs, pills, powders, solutions, books, or classes. I didn’t use any of those things.




I am not here to tell you about a gimmick, the next new thing, or sell you a product. All I have is my story and the hope that if people suffering from extra weight do what I do they can experience the sort of results I enjoy.
